Creating patterns is something I've always been interested in, especially hand-drawn ones. Here, I wanted to create a pattern that utilized a variety of flowers which correlate with each month of the year. I applied the pattern to gift bags meant to be purchased for birthday gifts. The idea is that people could buy bags specifically for the birthday month of their friend/significant other.
On the side of each bag is a poem I found that relates to the flower of that month. My goal was to relate each color scheme to the colors for each flower and description of the month. Shown here are 9 different colored patterns that is assumed to be a series of 12 patterns.
