Why unicorns? Because I have loved the fantasy world since I was a child. Today, there are a lot of serious fantasy movies and shows such as Twilight, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Vampire Diaries, Game of Thrones, etc...
Since so much hype surrounds the magical creatures in these fantasy lands, I wanted to poke fun at the fact that these creatures will never actually exist. I took inspiration for my illustrations from Sharon Werner's Alphabeasties and adult cartoons such as Family Guy and the Simpsons.
